“Japanese Spring in St.-Petersburg Festival” – is a traditional annual festival, hold by Consulate General of Japan in St.-Petersburg. It is a cultural event, which carried out for the St.-Petersburg citizens interested in culture of Japan.
These yeas the St.-Petersburg Kendo Federation also participated the Festival.
On 29 of March 2009 open keiko and lecture about history end aesthetics of Kendo was hold in Gekken Club Dojo for everybody interested in Kendo and Kendo traditions.
On 12 of April 2009 was also conducted open keiko and demonstration of the film “Beautiful and Glorious Masters Of Kendo” (on Japanese) in Gekken Club Dojo. Event was visited by a 50-60 peoples interested in Japanese culture and Kendo.
