14th World Kendo Championships were carried out in San-Paulo (Brazil) on 28-30 August 2009. Two members of “Gekken Dojo” participated the Championships: Konstantin Zhukov and Victor Trofimov.
They participated Teams Championships, and national team faced the teams of Sweden and Italy in pulls. Only one team could pass the pull and that was the National team of Italy.
Despite our Club members had only two shiais, the participation to the World Kendo Championships became an amazing thing for our sportsmen.
