1 March 2008 was led the St.-Petersburg kendo clubs representatives with the purpose of creation of St.-Petersburg Kendo Association (SKA). The ASSOCIATION includes the following clubs:

The main aims of ASSOCIATION creation are amalgamation of St.-Petersburg clubs and consolidation of their cooperation, development of kendo, iaido and jyodo in St.-Petersburg.
Igor Kalashnikov was selected as a president of ASSOCIATION. The members of presidium are Eugeny Andreev (Shiten), Irina Yen (Zanshin), Mikhail Mikhailov (Kumdo Federation), Alexaner Khromyshev (Budoshingikan).
